Caney Creek Wood Company was founded in 2021 by Daniel Brumbelow and Brian Davis, when their shared passion for woodworking evolved from a hobby into a thriving business. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a company dedicated to craftsmanship, quality, and bringing customers’ visions to life.
In 2025, Daniel and Brian faced a pivotal decision—either leave their careers to scale the business further or pass it on to someone who could continue building its future. Ultimately, they chose to sell the company, ensuring its legacy would continue.
In March 2026, Luis Castro acquired Caney Creek Wood Company. After more than 30 years in the corporate world, specializing in logistics and supply chain, Luis made the bold decision to pursue his passion for woodworking full-time. Committed to honoring the foundation built by Daniel and Brian, he continues to carry forward the company’s original mission.
Today, that mission remains unchanged: to transform customers’ dream tables into reality, turning raw wood slabs into beautiful, handcrafted pieces of furniture that tell a story.
ONE STOP SHOP
Every step in the woodworking process is done in-house and on-site, giving CCWC total quality control. Most finished pieces Caney Creek Wood Company produces are custom built in conjunction with the customers all the way from selecting the wood to choosing a finish. The result is one of a kind, heirloom quality furniture that will not only last a lifetime but will be passed down for many generations to come.
